Keble Advanced Studies Centre
Wednesday 14 September, 2011
Keble's Advanced Studies Centre aims to generate, catalyse and propagate new ideas to stimulate interdisciplinary research into both fundamental and contemporary problems, with the potential to stretch the boundaries of knowledge and to influence public policy and regulation.
Over the last four years, with considerable philanthropic support from Keble alumni, the College has developed six interdisciplinary research clusters in Complexity, Creativity, Imaging, Medieval and Renaissance Studies, Networks and Relics. Led by Keble Fellow, Professor Tom Higham, the ASC programmes are flourishing, attracting visiting researchers and collaborators from universities across the world and bringing vibrancy to the College research community. It is intended that further collaborative groups will be formed as funding becomes available.
