I am the ASC Director
I am the Director of the Advanced Studies Centre at Keble. I am also the Deputy Director of the Oxford Radiocarbon Accelerator Unit in the Research Lab for Archaeology. I am interested in building reliable chronometric frameworks for the archaeological past, for the last 50,000 years using accelerator-based radiocarbon dating. We are fortunate to have a superb machine here in Oxford that allows us to produce reliable and precise measurements.
My work for the ASC attempts to build and develop collaborative research clusters and encourage cutting-edge research within the College. Currently we have several clusters involved in inter-disciplinary research, and more are developing.
My recent research has been profiled here : http://www.nature.com/news/archaeology-date-with-history-1.10573
